Who We Are

Jonah Hall
Creative Director

Jonah Hall, a veteran of the visual effects industry, graduated from R.I.S.D. before going on to get his graduate degree from Pratt. He has created groundbreaking visual effects that can be seen in feature films like Tron: Legacy, 2012, The Day After Tomorrow and Star Trek: Nemesis to name a few. Hall was the winner of MOFILM’s 2009 “Make an Ad” competition, creating a spot for Visa to take the title, and his work on the NBC project 1313 Mockingbird Lane garnered a VES nomination for Outstanding Visual Effects in 2012. He's crafted a proven production pedigree throughout his extensive career, having served as technical director or visual effects supervisor for many of the top visual effects companies in the industry, including Dreamworks, Digital Domain, Asylum, and Mirada. Hall co-founded Timber in 2013.

Damian Stevens
Managing Director

Damian Stevens' experience in the advertising industry is extensive. He started out working at some of the top advertising agencies in North America, including Fallon McElligott, TBWA/Chiat Day, Hal Riney & Partners and Foote Cone and Belding. It was during that period that he earned an Emmy for producing a Public Broadcast Service commercial directed by Errol Morris titled “Photo Booth,” and was recognized with many other industry awards, including Cannes Lions. Following that, he spent four years on the production side of the industry. As an executive producer at Moxie Films and JGF, Stevens worked with many top feature film, music video and commercial directors, and collaborated with some of the best advertising agencies in the world. Stevens' next move was to Saatchi & Saatchi/Los Angeles, where he helped the agency venture into the areas of non-traditional content production. He left to launched Arcade Edit in Los Angeles in 2008 with Editors/Partners Kim Bica, Jeff Ferruzzo, Geoff Hounsell and Paul Martinez. Arcade's New York office opened for business in 2013.

Kevin Lau
Creative Director

Kevin Lau has over 15 years of experience in advertising and design, and was one of the original members of Superfad, a genre-bending design and live action production company. After six years at Superfad he went on to serve as creative director for some of the industry's most well-respected production companies, including Brand New School, Motion Theory and Mirada. Throughout his career he's created campaigns for many of the worlds biggest brands, including Target, Visa, AT&T, MTV and Coca-Coloa. Working with Goodby Silverstein & Partners, Lau’s campaign for Sprint’s “Now Network” was honored with a Cannes Gold Lion. His creative talents have also been recognized in the art world. Work he did with TBWA\Chiat\Day for Sony PlayStation Unleashed is part of the permanent collection at MoMA. Lau co-founded Timber in 2013.
