Life’s better with Cox xtras

Timber’s visual effects team worked alongside Australia’s most awarded commercial director, Whitelabel’s Paul Middeditch, to build a truly epic battle for Cox Communications. Using hundreds of extras and thousands of digital characters, Timber’s technical animation crew designed a system to extend an existing, living crowd out along the perimeters to expand it’s reach to increase scale and impact. Fire effects, crowd simulations, matte paintings and digital props were just some of the tools Timber used to take an already massive film production and make it truly epic.
